Sirena

Motto was turned into an incubator for new food concepts in January 2016, in order to share the expertise with more new chefs. Talented chefs from all over the world developed a menu and concept with their support - and they helped them market it and gain experience running a busy restaurant, giving feedback all the way.

On Motto's first birthday in 2015, they opened Makan, their sister space, with a large dining room and a lush, green garden (www.facebook.com/makanbeirut). Makan serves Lebanese and Sri Lankan lunch buffet, and changing dinner menus from around the world.

They are currently hosting Indian restaurant, Sirena, one of the oldest in Beirut. Sirena's two Indian chefs use a traditional clay tandoor oven to bake the naan bread and grill meat and vegetables. They also present you with beautiful dishes from all over India, with a special focus on Punjabi cuisine.
