Bustan Al-Khan (the Khan's Garden) is located in Baalbak, northeast of Beirut. Among the monumental buildings at the site, which is just south of the Temple of Jupiter, is a portico with 12 columns, which may have been the south gate to the sanctuary. Judging from the way the capitals are shaped, it was constructed in the 2nd century. The two main buildings are a hall on a terrace in the southern area and a Roman bathhouse, inspired by the baths of Emperor Trajan in Rome.
