Mirabai has been practicing yoga since the young age of six by the influence of her father. Mira is a pioneer of yoga education in the Middle East, Mirabai began teaching yoga in 2003, and opened her center, Shiva-Lila, in the heart of Beirut in 2010. She spearheaded one of the first internationally certified teacher's training programs in the Arab region. She has conducted many local and abroad workshops and retreats. In her classes, Mirabai teaches an eclectic blend of Hatha and Vinyasa where she incorporates her methods and personal experience into her practice.
