The top of eastern tower of Saydet, Zahle, in eastern Lebanon, which is accessed through an elevator, offers tranquil views of the city and the Bekaa Valley. A bronze Italian statue of the Virgin Mary holding a grapevine stands atop the tower and watches over the city while the base houses a small chapel.
