Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal

The Basilica of Our Lady of the Miraculous was built by the Vincentian Fathers overlooking a hill in Achrafieh, east Beirut. It was dedicated in the presence of the Apostolic Nuncio in 1952 and was one of the first churches to be granted the status of basilica by the Holy See. With time, it has become a center of piety, reconciliation and spiritual influence in Beirut and all of Lebanon.
