Cinéma Empire is managed by Tiro Association for Arts, an NGO that works on activating culture in the marginalized areas of Lebanon.
Since 2014, the association has rehabilitated Cinema Al Hamra and Cinema Rivoli in Tyre and Cinema Stars in Nabatieh, established the Lebanese National Theater, launched the Lebanese International Theater Festival, Lebanese International Short Film Festival, and Tyre International Music Festival.
